Second Week of our Intake-2 “SLC Bridge Course” kicked off on 20th April with our WEEKLY CHALLENGE of “How to Build a Solar Oven”. With zero budget and a whole lot of grit, our students accepted their first Weekly Challenge at EduLift. During the week, they also created their first blog posts and engaged in some hilarious ice-breaker role play sessions facilitated by our wonderful volunteer Harri Pickering.
The week concluded with our Thursday Guest Speaker Series by Dr. Jagan Nath Shrestha. Dr. Shrestha is one of the foremost energy experts based in Kathmandu, Nepal and is a Professor Emeritus and former Director of Center for Energy Studies at Tribhuvan University’s Engineering Campus. He is often consulted by the Government of Nepal on energy policy matters and also speaks regularly at local and international conferences relating to Energy sector in Nepal.
