The ninth week saw students putting the finishing touches to their final group projects. These projects will soon be exhibited on the final day i.e. the 21st of June. Besides, the students also received individual counselling on building their career plans as well as group counselling to prepare for interviews and find internship opportunities.
On 10th June, students attended the first and biggest motivational seminar by Saunak Bhatta at Nepal Royal Academy. Mr Bhatta has been our Guest Speaker in both our first and second intakes and has been very inspirational to our students.
Similarly on 12th June, James C. Hopkins, director of development/fundraiser at Rangjung Yeshe Institute was the Guest Speaker at EduLift. Mr. Hopkins shared with us his journey from being a broker at Wall Street in New York to starting a microfinance project based in Kathmandu in order to empower economically challenged women and help educate their children.
Finally, on 13th June, one of our students- Jiban Dani who aspires to be a musician some day met up with Sunny Manandhar, guitarist of the Nepali band- Albatross to gain some mentorship opportunities.
